Staff SW Engineer, Setup

 

Summary

The Setup squad is responsible for a suite of tools and services that enable the creation of Organizations, Programs, and parameter configurations, ensuring the correct behavior of financial products across the platform.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain projects using the Golang language with deployment on AWS.
• Proactively contributes to the betterment of other engineers in the company, through sponsoring, mentoring, and providing constructive feedback.
• Consistently leads their squad to good outcomes from a technical perspective, ensuring appropriate engineering decisions are made to factor in technical debt, systems design, stability/reliability, monitoring/observability, and business need.
• Execution of Terraform to create/remove new resources on AWS.
• Monitoring applications through logs/metrics
• Participation in technical analysis with product team requirements.
• Promote cross-team collaboration and act as a technical reference to share knowledge and drive alignment across squads.

Minimum Qualifications

Language Skills:

• Upper Intermediate English Level (B2)

Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Developer
• Golang
• Any cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Infra as a code tools (Terraform, Ansible, AWS Cloud Formation)
• Relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases
• Microservices
• Unit and Integration Test

Desirable Qualifications

• Knowledge in Event-driven Architecture
• Work with critical systems
• Experience mentoring other software engineers;
