Job Description
Summary
The Credit Rights Squad is responsible for developing digital receivables products to financial institutions using cutting-edge technologies to deliver a high-scalable, secure, cost-effective and resilient financial services to the clients.
What you'll do
- Develop clean, efficient, and well-documented code that aligns with the team's technical designs and overall architecture goals.
- Implement comprehensive and readable automated tests that validate core business logic and handle error scenarios effectively.
- Contribute actively across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, system design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Continuously improve and maintain existing codebases by participating in disciplined code reviews and promoting a culture of quality and collaboration.
- Work closely with peers to define and evolve engineering best practices, development methodologies, and techniques that drive efficiency and reduce technical waste.
- Ensure adherence to development standards through regular code reviews and maintain application stability by monitoring environments and addressing potential issues proactively.
- Participate in incident response and on-call rotations, helping to ensure the reliability and operational readiness of production systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Language Skills:
- Proficiency in English at B1 level (Intermediate).
Technical Skills:
- Design and develop high-availability, high-throughput systems using Java, ensuring scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability.
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as SQS, SNS, EventBridge, S3, Step Functions, and Lambda.
- Define and evolve microservices-based architectures with a strong focus on performance optimization, service independence, and effective cross-team governance.
- Build and scale data-driven systems using both relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and non-relational (MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases.
- Apply modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and observability strategies, to support seamless deployment and reliable operations.
- Ensure software quality and system resilience through comprehensive testing strategies, including unit, integration, contract, and chaos testing in distributed environments.
Desirable Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools and practices, including Terraform, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, Codefresh, and ArgoCD, to enable scalable, automated software delivery.
- Familiarity with advanced architectural patterns such as CQRS, Event Sourcing, and Saga for building resilient, distributed systems.
- Understanding of cloud cost optimization strategies and performance profiling to ensure efficient and cost-effective system operation.
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience with real-time, scalable architectures using streaming data technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and AWS Kinesis.
- Knowledge of Big Data tools and ecosystems, including Databricks, Apache Spark, Data Lakes, and cloud-based data processing pipelines.
- Proficiency in Golang for building high-performance, scalable, and concurrent backend applications.
