Job Description
What you will do:
- Drive platform infrastructure roadmap: Plan and implement the technical roadmap for our hybrid Edge Cloud platform, ensuring reliable processing of AI results from medical imaging scans.
- Define technical requirements: Develop and maintain clear technical specifications for platform infrastructure components, including cloud resources, containerization, networking, and automated deployment.
- Collaborate with engineering teams: Work closely with infrastructure engineers, DevOps, security, and other technical teams to implement solutions that meet our healthcare customers' needs.
- Ensure system reliability: Define SLAs, monitoring requirements, and performance metrics for our platform infrastructure to maintain high availability for critical healthcare applications.
- Optimize cloud resources: Analyze infrastructure costs and usage patterns to recommend optimizations that balance performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Support compliance needs: Partner with security and regulatory teams to ensure platform infrastructure meets healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, SOC2, etc.).
- Technical documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for our platform infrastructure to support engineering, support, and implementation teams.
- Cross-functional alignment: Serve as the technical liaison between platform infrastructure teams and other product areas, ensuring alignment with overall product
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Healthcare IT experience - 5+ years’ experience in healthcare technology roles, with 3+ years’ experience in healthcare IT, medical imaging systems, and/or healthcare data platforms.
- Technical background - Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, virtualization technologies (AWS, containers, VMware), network storage, and automated deployment technologies (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Platform product management experience - Track record of managing technical product roadmaps for infrastructure or platform products, with ability to translate technical requirements into business value.
- Infrastructure operations knowledge - Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, system monitoring, and performance optimization techniques.
- Analytical mindset - Ability to analyze system performance data, identify bottlenecks, and prioritize technical improvements.
- Communication skills - Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Security and compliance awareness - Familiarity with healthcare compliance requirements for technical systems.
- Nice to haves:
- Experience with medical imaging workflows and DICOM standards
- Understanding of AI/ML deployment requirements in production environments
- Experience with edge computing or hybrid cloud architectures
- Knowledge of healthcare EMR systems integration (e.g., EPIC)
- Background in software development or systems engineering
