Skedda is a leading global workplace management platform dedicated to streamlining desk and room reservations and scheduling. We serve over 7,000 customers and nearly two million users, including IBM, Siemens, Mercedes-Benz, and Harvard University.
Today, the product includes functionality such as floor plan visualizations, desk and meeting room booking, visitor management, and utilization reports and analytics. Skedda integrates with key workplace tools like Microsoft365, Google Workspace, and Slack; and has won awards from G2, Capterra, and SoftwareAdvice.
Role overview
This will be an exciting, high impact role with a lot of potential for growth. You will be expected to wear a wide variety of hats (design and otherwise!) and will need to be comfortable working through ambiguity. You’ll span the full spectrum of work from spec’ing the details of components all the way to contributing to our product strategy. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with multiple other UX designers at Skedda and AllBooked. Day to day responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and other departments throughout the full product development lifecycle
- Help lead and conduct generative and evaluative user research to inform our prioritization and design decisions
- Create low fidelity concepts and wireframes to help us explore and rapidly iterate on potential solutions
- Deliver high quality designs and specs to clearly communicate design requirements to the engineering team
- Balance design goals with technical feasibility and business requirements
- Help maintain and improve our design system and core components to maintain a consistent experience

Skills & Experience
- 2+ years of experience in a UX or Product Design role, ideally working on a modern web app with an emphasis on responsive design
- Strong proficiency with Figma
- Firsthand experience conducting user research
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices
- Basic technical proficiency with HTML, CSS, and frontend frameworks
