About the role
Reporting into our Global VP of Customer Experience & Customer Marketing, we're seeking an experienced Director of Lifecycle Marketing to lead and scale our customer engagement, retention and growth strategies. This pivotal role will consolidate and grow personalized, data-driven lifecycle programs from three brands across our diverse customer base. Lead a team of 7 direct reports, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration, while working closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, and Customer Success.
In your day to day you will:
- Build and scale a world-class lifecycle marketing program that significantly impacts customer retention and revenue growth and supports both product-led and sales-led growth strategies.
- Lead a team of 7 direct reports, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture, while working closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, and Customer Success.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), providing regular reporting and insights to leadership.
- Collaborate with Product, Customer Experience and Customer Success teams to align lifecycle strategies with product roadmap and customer outreach initiatives.
- Champion a test-and-learn approach to continuously improve campaign performance and customer experience.
- Unite three separate teams from three different former companies into one cohesive team.
- Transition from a setup of 3 brands, 3 different customer databases, lifecycles, and their respective marketing automation platform solutions to a customer journey that is both harmonized and differentiated, based on customer profile and their current life stage.

What We're Looking For:
- Experience developing successful lifecycle marketing strategies (typically 8+ years or equivalent skills and knowledge) that drive customer retention at B2C and B2B SaaS companies, including 2+ years of management.
- A strong commitment to creating exceptional customer experiences and the ability to craft messages that resonate with diverse audiences, alongside business vision to drive upsell and cross-sell.
- Excellent English communication skills to effectively influence stakeholders and create engaging campaigns.
- Experience managing and optimizing a complex tech stack that use marketing automation platforms like Iterable or Braze to send high-volume campaigns based on real-time product data..
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to analyze program success and inform decision-making.
- A consistent track record of working across teams including Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales.
- Deep understanding of both product-led growth (PLG) and sales-led growth (SLG) models.
- Great interpersonal skills allow you to easily build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive projects forward despite obstacles.

- You’ve used platforms in our tech stack. You are proficient with Marketo or Iterable and have experience with Gainsight and Salesforce data integrations as well.
- You’ve demonstrated innovation. You’re constantly seeking new and creative ways to improve email marketing performance. Your team is already using AI to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
