Job Description
What does this team do?
The Security Operations team safeguards our organization's digital assets through continuous monitoring and threat response. We manage four key security domains: Application Security, integrating protection throughout the software development lifecycle; Engineering Security, implementing technical safeguards and automated solutions; Identity and Access Management, controlling authentication and enforcing least privilege principles; and Data Security, protecting sensitive information through classification, encryption, and compliance measures. Our team balances robust security with business enablement, allowing the organization to operate securely while pursuing innovation.
What would you do in this role?
We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to lead our Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust security initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing and governing identity and access management using SailPoint IdentityNow, including application onboarding, lifecycle events (Joiner/Mover/Leaver), role-based access controls, separation of duties policies, approval workflows, and access certifications
- Implement HR systems (UKG, Deel, etc) as profile source in Okta and IdentityNow to enable automated user provisioning and profile data synchronization.
- Provide hands-on technical administration of critical IAM systems and applications, ensuring optimal performance, integration, security, and delivering senior operational support
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance IAM solutions.
- Proactively identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities using Axonius SaaS management platform
- Migrating our security operations infrastructure to AWS using Terraform for improved scalability and availability
- Create and maintain documentation with collaboration tools like Confluence for systems configurations, operational procedures, and best practices
- Manage relationships with vendors, assessing new technologies and contributing to procurement decisions
- Participate in developing compliance policies and completing audit-related activities.
If you are a strategic security leader who is passionate about modern identity-centric security approaches, we would love to hear from you. This position will play a critical role in maturing our security capabilities as we continue our cloud and zero trust transformation.
What do you need to apply?
- 5+ years of experience in IAM roles with at least 3 of those years being primarily focused on Okta and SailPoint.
- Skilled in designing and configuring IAM across complex global infrastructures for high availability, with an understanding of cyberattacks and proactive IAM defenses
- Experience with workflow automation platforms and leveraging APIs to orchestrate systems
- Experience in integrating and optimizing enterprise applications like Atlassian, Google Workspace, Slack, etc.
- Working knowledge of AWS and Terraform.
It would be nice if you had…
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cybersecurity or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as CIAM, CISSP, or equivalent IAM vendor-specific certifications
- Proven experience leading a development team, with strong mentoring and team-building skills.
