Contentsquare is seeking a Director of Sales Development Leader to lead their sales development organization across the North American region. The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, technical aptitude, and natural sales management instincts. They will coach and lead a strong leadership team, collaborate with marketing and sales leadership, and adopt a data-driven approach to increase ROI. The Director will also develop career pathing and personal development strategies for the SDR organization, motivate them to exceed objectives, and identify areas for improvement. Contentsquare offers a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $135,000 per year, along with flexible work arrangements, benefits, and opportunities for growth and development.
Job Description
What you’ll do
- Lead a sales development organization of 30+
- Coach and lead a strong leadership team of 4+, through change and evolution
- Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership on pipeline development strategies and execution of ABM strategies across the regions
- Adopt a data driven approach to increase ROI of the Sales Development organization and onboard a strategy of continuous development and adaption ensuring the best return.
- Develop career pathing and personal development strategies for the SDR organization, promoting retention and promotion of top talent through our GTM organization.
- Motivate the SDR organization to exceed objectives through coaching, regular broadcast of results, and creative incentives
- Report on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency, and productivity
What you’ll need to succeed
- Demonstrated progressive second line leadership experience leading teams in strategic sales. Multiple repeatable proof points of recruiting, hiring, developing, and retaining leaders and individual contributors that make-up a high performing enterprise sales organization
- Deep experience selling into accounts in core markets
- Demonstrated progressive and consistent overachievements of annual quota
- Demonstrated progressive experience in software sales, preferably with digital experience platform
- Proven track record of working closely with the channel for growth leverage
- Proven success partnering with Marketing, Channel, Alliances, Product, and Engineering peers
- Demonstration of high levels of integrity, initiative, honesty and leadership
- Must be adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated and work well on their own or as a member of a team
- Polished presentation skills
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and ambitious workload
