Rackspace is hiring a Communications and Content Development Manager to develop and implement communication strategies that align with the company's overall strategy, goals, and objectives. The role involves creating digital, oral, and written content to provide information across the company, managing projects, and ensuring uniform and consistent communications based on values and strategic priorities. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience managing a corporate communications program, expertise in campaign design, communication planning, and project management, as well as ability to perform data analysis. Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business unit communications strategies and plans to support Company's business objectives with internal audiences.
- Develop messaging for a broad array of projects and business situations.
- Enhance Rackspace communications annual communications strategy, and standard business communications.
- Manage business unit leadership communications to employees through publications, events, speeches, videos and other communications channels to motivate and focus employees on achieving company goals.
- Counsel leadership and internal stakeholders on effective communications and the impact their business decisions have on internal constituencies.
- Coordinate with global communications teams.
- Establish global communications standards for quality control purposes.
- Develop and deliver training to build capability among the communications team.
- Work with suppliers to produce appealing, high-impact communication materials.
- Leverages annual communications strategy to increase employee awareness and knowledge of the organizational strategy, policies and programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required. At the manager’s discretion, additional relevant experience may substitute degree requirement.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing a corporate communications program is required.
- Experienced with the following skills: campaign design, communication planning, company/design branding, presentation building, project management, public relations, and management of both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to perform data analysis.
- Background using software design tools, marketing automation tools, and project management tools.
