Orum is hiring a Commercial Account Executive to drive sales growth and accelerate business development. As an Account Executive, you will own and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, identifying new business opportunities through strategic outreach and relationship-building. You will partner with Sales Development Representatives, Solution Consultants, and Customer Success Managers to effectively drive deals forward. With a focus on enterprise software sales skills and in-depth knowledge of Orum's technology, you will represent Orum in the field and meet quota targets. Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, ensuring consistent growth within the commercial market.
- Identify, engage, and convert new business opportunities through strategic outreach and relationship-building.
- Partner closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), Solution Consultants, and Customer Success Managers to effectively drive deals forward.
- Conduct thorough discovery, develop Champions, and manage product Pilots to demonstrate value and accelerate decision-making.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly quota targets.
- Develop and execute territory and account plans to drive pipeline generation and new logo acquisition.
- Represent Orum with professionalism and deep product knowledge to articulate value to prospective customers.
- Continuously improve through training, coaching, and feedback, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Orum’s platform and industry trends.
Must Have
- 3+ years of closing experience in a quota-carrying role selling B2B SaaS to commercial, mid-market or small enterprise
- Overachieving sales goals (President’s Club, Rep of the Year, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Self-starter, quick learner, and avid prospector
Nice to Have
- Experience with MEDDIC is helpful
- Previously a top-performing SDR or experience in sales development in a hyper-growth start up
- Experience selling to sales organizations or marketing leaders
- Former Orum user
