The COO will define and execute the operational strategy, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure data-driven decision-making. With 5+ years of senior-level experience in operations or strategy, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading large-scale initiatives, managing lean and scalable teams, and identifying opportunities for growth. Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Strategy & Vision – Define and execute the operational strategy for the full product portfolio, collaborating with department heads to cascade goals and allocate resources effectively
- Quarterly Planning & Delivery – Maintain the company’s strategic streams and objective framework; run the quarterly planning cadence and ensure every initiative is reviewed for impact on company objectives
- Process Excellence & Digital Repository – Expand the digital process repository (toward a future digital twin) and introduce AI‑enabled process simulation and optimisation tools
- Workflow Automation & Data Integrity – Oversee the continued optimisation of our CRM and omni‑channel communication platform to automate customer and internal workflows, improve data accuracy, and provide transparent performance dashboards
- Operational Readiness & Change Management – Ensure comprehensive knowledge documentation, facilitate cross‑team knowledge sharing, coordinate training programs, and drive structured change‑management practices so teams and customers are fully prepared for new products, processes, and system enhancements
- Leadership & Culture – Empower autonomous teams, maintain rapid and transparent information flow, and take full accountability for outcomes; hire, develop, and retain a world‑class operations organisation. Directly lead the Operations, CRM, Operations Excellence, and Head of Integration & Tech Support departments
- Generative AI Strategy & Implementation – Lead the company‑wide strategy for adopting generative AI technologies, partnering with functional leaders to define high‑impact use cases, embed AI into workflows, and ensure measurable value while upholding responsible AI principles
- Stakeholder Management – Build strong relationships with key customers, partners, and internal stakeholders; communicate operational performance and risks to the CEO
Professional Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ senior‐level experience in operations or strategy, ideally within Fintech, SaaS, or platform companies
- Demonstrated success leading large Go‑To‑Market and operational initiatives at scale
- Proven ability to manage and develop lean and scalable operations teams
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills across functions
- Deep operational, analytical, and continuous‑improvement mindset
- Advanced experience with Salesforce, Intercom, or comparable systems and with digital process‑management / BPM tools
- Proven experience identifying, evaluating, and deploying generative AI solutions across business workflows, with a strong grasp of responsible‑AI practices
- Hands‑on expertise with leading generative‑AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, GitHub Copilot) and excellent prompt‑engineering skills, acting as an internal champion and leading by example
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to CEO and Board
