Megaport is seeking a Channel Manager - Northeast to develop and execute go-to-market strategies within the Agent Channel. The successful candidate will cultivate trust, credibility, and relevance with Technology Service Distributors (TSD) and Subagents' sales teams to increase active end-sellers of Megaport's solutions. This role requires relationship-building, results-driven skills, and a strong understanding of cloud, technology, and network trends. The ideal candidate will be able to work cross-functionally with multiple business units, partners, and solution teams. Job Description
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead Pre-Sales solutions and Enablement our TSD Partners and their Subagents across North America.
- Collaborate with our Channel Account Managers and TSD Partners to develop and build Go-to-Market strategies Simplify and refine the solution sales process in order to accelerate sales and customer adoption
- Establish channel campaigns with our TSD and Subagent Community on the latest Megaport product, solution offerings and use cases to educate and train both our TSDs and Master agents sellers.
- Establish a trusted advisor relationship and thought leadership with each TSD and local Subagent Communities by demonstrating a strong understanding of their businesses, their customers, and our solution.
- Maintain a good understanding of cloud, technology and network trends, the associated route-to-market, and how partners can leverage Megaport CSPs to accelerate public or hybrid adoption by enterprises.
- Represent Megaport at Agent Channel events and serve as an extension to our TSD and Subagents Partners at Industry events
- Enable and align our sub-agents with our direct sellers in order to accelerate revenue growth across the region
What We Are Looking For
- Experience working in the TSD and Subagent community, with a background in technical sales within the Channel.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple business units, partners and solution teams.
- Experience and high-level understanding of networking, cloud computing, and data centre subjects.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding deliverables, including Quota Attainment and KPIS.
- Self-motivated, result-driven with the ability to work autonomously.
- Entrepreneurial mindset; flexible and adaptable.
- Comfortable working in a flexible and remote, globally distributed work environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
